1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your plain-text password). When you make a purchase, payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use your data

We use your information to create and secure your account, grant access to courses and membership content you've purchased, track your lesson and quiz progress, process payments, and communicate with you about your account or purchases.

3. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run AI Academy:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
• Supabase (Postgres) — database hosting for your account and progress data
• Vercel — application hosting

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you want your account and associated data deleted, contact us and we'll process the request, subject to any records we're required to keep for tax or legal purposes.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

7. Children's privacy

AI Academy is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
